Just checked up on this...wondering how you and Anthony are doing since it's been 6 months since the last update. Hope he has continued to progress and your lives are blessed with Jesus in the every day little moments!

I also wanted to say that you are model for others. My sister just informed me of her friend whose family is going through all sorts of ordeals (lead poisoning, job loss, lawsuit, moving) and just found out that their daughter has leukemia. I thought of you and way you have inspired others by your faithfulness and also in how others have stepped up to help out and to create vehicles to facilate others serving you. I was going to say "May God keep you strong" but also know that he has been glorified in your weakness and humility....

Anna, You are in our prayers. The children routinely include Mr. Maleski in our night prayer.

Dear Anna, Thank you for the updates. I pray for you, Anthony and the children always. You may not recall (or I may not have mentioned before) that I am a PT. I noticed in your last post that you were concerned about the "spasticity" in Anthony's legs. Rather than stretching him (which takes time, energy), has anyone discussed night braces that could gently stretch his legs while he sleeps? There are spring-loaded night braces that are adjustable. I don't know if insurance would cover it. It might be worth discussing with the members of Anthony's MD/rehab team. I send my best wishes for continued progress, joy and love, Diane

Dear Anna, Anthony and children: my husband and kids were asking for an update on your situation. I've been wanting to check on you and so now- know that you all continue to be in our prayers. We hope you have a very blessed Advent and Christmas. Hopefully, you will be moved into your new home. Anna, we never know how we'll be tested, and you have been so faithful to God, and Anthony. May you continue to be especially strengthened and blessed! Peace of Christ, the Cunninghams

Anna and Anthony, Jerry and I remember you and pray for you every day. This is such a hard time, and you are such an inspiration in how you have traversed this tragedy. I write today because, about a year ago, Jerry and I were at your house as you and Anthony talked about your birthing experiences and both coached me and Jerry in the wonderful adventure that was about to come. You have always been such wonderful hosts and friends. I wish Anthony's accident and your family's pain was not a reality, but I know God is using this time--this crazy, busy, heartwrenching time--to his Glory. He has been doing it all year, and he will do it in all the years to come. Anna, you show how the light of Christ shines through your darkest moments. Please, let Jerry and me know if we can help in any way with your moving or with anything right now. If not, know we think of you and hold your family in our hearts and in our prayers, and we will keep doing that for the rest of our lives. I treasure the memories of all the times we were able to hang out, and I hope that we'll be able to do so again in the future.
