Anna,
Just wanted to say that we're still praying for all of you. We'll especially pray that Anthony's time at Mercy has a very positive outcome. God Bless You!

Anthony in your darkness you may feel threatened that you are now unable to experience the world as you remember. Through this horrible event, you have been given new eyes and new ears to grow in ways that you just don't or may even never understand. God has given you time to pause and rally all that is important to you. I heard of your quest for prayer as a daily ritual that you comfort yourself with but I fear for your health as you distance yourself from the world (and those YOU LOVE). I don't know you, but I know you. Allow love and warmth to surround you as God wills it. Allow love and warmth to enter your heart, your hands, your eyes, your relationships. Permit yourself extreme anger, extreme fear, extreme uncertainty for it is only then that His light will guide your path. You know He calls you to accept His word, your circumstance and your gifts as building blocks of character. Show your sweet children how to fight and focus on the prize of entrance into His glorious kingdom. Regain His purpose for you and soar as the man God intended. You are in my prayers and I know your emergence is near. Be strong. Be safe. Be Christ-like.

Thy Kingdom Come!
Anthony, I am having dinner with Cory and Suzanne. They told me your story. My heart and my prayers go out to you. It is hard, at times, to understand God's plan for our lives. But, when he sends a cross our way, if we embrace it with love, it always works out for our benefit and that of others. Please count on my prayers. God bless you!
Sincerely yours in Christ,

Hello! By God's graces, I literally was cleaning through stacks of paper (that Anthony donated to the Western School- 4 or 5 years ago when I was teaching there!) and thought to google you guys and say hello. I had no idea that this had happened and I am so sorry and hope that I can be helpful in some way. Please email me and let me know where you are living, as perhaps a visit or some cookies for you and the kids would even be helpful. God Bless you- I really enjoyed meeting you both when I was a piano teacher up in Brentwood! Strangely, again, I am moving forward with decisions about neurology/psychiatry/neuropharmacology research positions, and this may be another reason that motivates me to follow God's nudges. I am praying and hope to hear from you soon, Anna. God Bless You.

Hi Anna, you don't know me but I am a friend of Art's and your uncle Luke and knew your mom many years ago. I have been following your story and your wonderful faith in our Lord. Please permit me to say not to be afraid to get antidepressant meds for Anthony. With all he had been through, his brain chemicals could be in great imbalance. They have made such a differnce for me over the years, as well as many people that I know. God bless you.
