Hello, everyone.

Just a quick note: As it turns out, the brain injury doctor did not actually think that Anthony ought to be admitted to Mercy's brain injury rehab unit (perhaps a miscommunication with the ReMed people who were sure that he'd be admitted today) because he is well beyond the level of therapy they generally offer and because even if they start him on meds right away, it could take weeks before any effect is seen, so he might well get there and refuse to cooperate, as he did at ReMed. So he'll be at home indefinitely. The ReMed people have spoken of starting outpatient therapy with him at their clinic, which might be good. He's been very withdrawn and wants to be left alone to pray pretty much all of the time. I'm not sure whether to push him or not, but I don't want him to stagnate here, either. So if outpatient therapy is officially offered by ReMed, we'll try that out and see how it goes.

God is taking care of us in so many ways, especially through the people He puts in my life. Thanks to all who have prayed extra and/or sent me encouraging emails. Your support is a blessing and a consolation to me in this uncertain time (is any time ever really certain??).

God bless,
Anna
